The "ideas" or "cognitions" in question may include &lt;a title="Attitude (psychology)" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Attitude_(psychology)"&gt;attitudes&lt;/a&gt; and &lt;a title="Belief" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Belief"&gt;beliefs&lt;/a&gt;, and also the awareness of one's &lt;a title="Behavior" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Behavior"&gt;behavior&lt;/a&gt;.
